Come and enjoy our 4th Annual PTA Family Fun Night Trunk or Treat
Sunday, October 22nd at 4:00pm in the Elementary Parking Lot

Decorate your car in the Spirit of Halloween fun and pass out treats to everyone!

Come dressed in your costume and trick or treat!

Most Original, Scariest & Funniest Car

This year we are opening the event to local businesses as well. Flyers will be sent home with students for signups.

We will be collecting non-perishable items for Valley View area families.  Need ideas of what to bring?  Click here for a list!

Board Positions:

By Laws/Legislation: Gather information on PTA legislation and distribute as necessary. Ensure PTA follows all By Laws. Coordinate any By Law changes as needed throughout the year.

Child Development: Coordinate child care for General PTA meetings.

Programs: Research and book Arts and Education programs for all grades throughout the year. Coordinate payment reimbursements from the NEIU. Coordinate with administration regarding scheduling and coordinate any volunteers needed.

Donations/Raffle: Soliciting donations from business in the area for all PTA Events

Reflections:  Publicize information on the Reflections Program to ensure all students are aware of the program, rules, due dates. Encourage children to participate. Coordinate with teachers who are participating. Coordinate judging at the local level and local awards ceremony. Prepare all winning entries for council level judging. Be available for questions at subsequent levels of judging. Assist in preparing for the council awards banquet.

Health & Safety: Researching and booking Health & Safety programs for all grades throughout the year. Coordinating with administration for scheduling and coordinating volunteers.
